Is Canva right for you, right for your business?

I think the best way to learn something new is to dive in, relying on Google if you hit a snag. Being hands-on with new tools leads to trial and error. Learning to create with Canva is no exception.

If you run a blog, a website or sell digital products, images are your welcome mat. Creating eye-catching images is the first step in wowing your audience.  Whether you’re a beginner or a PhotoShop pro, it’s important to make a great first impression. Canva is one of the best tools out there, free or paid, that will help you create stunning images. Also, by incorporating free images from places like Pixabay, your creativity will know no bounds.

I created this tutorial to help others learn more about it, what it does. I’ve included tips and tricks I’ve learned along my journey. There are always new little features being added, so stay tuned for updates! If you need further help, the Canva website has great help articles.

By watching this presentation, you’ll learn about your Dashboard, and where to find text and images. You will also learn how to manipulate images for different uses, how to name your images and how to download them.

Keep in mind that using images from the Canva website do not make the end images yours. To reduce copyright infringement, upload your own photos, or use royalty-free images from websites such as Pixabay and Unsplash.

Let’s get creative!
