As I write this post, I’m approaching my third business birthday as a VA.
I left my steady job (with benefits, vacation time and paid breaks) and walked out into the unknown with excitement (and fear) in the pit of my stomach.
As this time of year rolls around, I always look back at where I was and how far I’ve come. The funny thing is, I’ve actually been a VA for much longer, I just didn’t know it. (more…)
Part of my awesome job is to help coaches with their admin and social media. It’s “work” that I love to do.
Specifically, part of my job is to curate blog articles authored by others, to share on my client’s behalf. This is in addition to setting up her monthly newsletter. Probably the biggest chunk of time, though, is spent on creating/resizing images for my client’s social media, in the form of inspirational or motivational quotes and holidays. (more…)
Some people know how to let go of tasks, and others find it difficult. Combined with delegating tasks to a virtual assistant you either don’t know well, or have never met, and it can be a tricky situation for anyone.
Here are some simple ways you can both be on the same page at the same time:
